Fish Shrimps

My friend invited me to go fishing shrimps tonight. At first, I had no interest in fishing, but my friend told me that it was very interesting and hoped I could go with him. After considering for a while, I decided to go with him. This was my first time to go fishing shrimps; therefore, I was very curious and excited. I was very lucky to fish two shrimps in an hour, but I found it needed skill and patience. The total we fished were13 shrimps, and then we roast them for dinner. We were glad to fish a lot of shrimps, it made us feel the sense of achievement. This was a really special experience for me.

"After considering for a while," ==> It's more natural English to say "After thinking about it for a while,". "Consider" is a favorite translation of Chinese speakers, but it's almost always the wrong word. It requires a direct object, as in "after considering his invitation".

"to go fishing shrimps;" ==> "to go fishing for shrimp;".

"lucky to fish two shrimps" ==> "lucky to catch two shrimp".

"The total we fished were13 shrimps, and then we roast them for dinner. " ==> "In total, we caught thirteen shrimp, and then we roasted them for dinner."

"it made us feel the sense of achievement." ==> "it gave us a sense of achievement." Don't use "feel" like this. I think that's a direct translation from Chinese. It's not idiomatic English.

Clear and easily understandable writing.
